Just got home from Rome, with this wonderfull feeling in the stomach, that our holiday with Renato & Co., has been just fantastic!!! The room was absolutely great. Clean, quiet and more hotel-like than ever expected!!! The service from Renato was sublim. Never saw anything like this at a B&B. We will recommend this place to all wee know going to Rome!! A suggestion: a small table in the foyer, where you can boil a cup of (Nes)café.

My friends and I stayed at this great B&B. Our room and bathroom were always clean. Breakfast (with warm croissants and hot coffee !!) arrived at the set time. Renato is/was very helpful, gave us directions,made reservations to various museums and generally just looked after us. When we booked this place on the Internet, we thought, how can it be so inexpensive? What's wrong with this place?? The answer is, nothing. We have not been in Rome before but in other European cities, hotels at this price range often barely have room for the bed. This was a very generous room, more than double the size of the king size bed, with a modern, clean bathroom. It has been recently renovated with DOUBLE windows to keep out the notorious Rome noise. As a result, we slept well. Breakfast was excellent, and Renato, a Rome native, spent a long time with us giving his opinion of what is worth seeing and what is overhyped. He was right about everything, too. These rooms are often used by business travelers who keep coming back. What better recommendation? We would recommend Cernaia Suites to anyone.

Great room, great value, great location
Easily accessible to major public transportation and within walking distance to hisotorical sites.
Renato was extremely helpful with information, room was clean, and breakfast arrived promptly at the scheduled time with warm crossaints and steaming coffee.

 We were 4 nights during October 2006. Excellent hotel. Comfortable, clean, big enough. The bath room very nice. I recommend it as a very good option to stay in Rome for vacation. Good location to know all monuments. The attention given by Renato very friendly. | | | Carissa Merton

 Cernaia Suite has been beautifully renovated and provided us with a very very comfortable hotel while in Rome.
The room & ensuite were immaculate, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was good and the service was outstanding. It was great value for money.
It was very worth while to stay a little futher away from the main attractions to take advantage of Cernaia Suite. We found the nearby buses were convenient and got us to where we wanted to go.
Renato was very helpful with maps and information on where to go & how to get there.

We are very satisfied with spending 5 days in Cernaia Suite. The room was nice, well-equipped, of high standard suitable for even 4-stars hotel. Room and bathroom were daily cleaned and towels were repleaced.
And... the very nice service and staff serving home-made breakfast and halpful at every step.

The two of us found the Cernaia Suite to be a great B&B, very homely and a welcome rest at the end of every tiring day spent sight-seeing in the beautiful city of Rome.
Situated a short distance from Termini station, Republica Metro station and bus routes into the centre of Rome, the B&B is easy to commute to and from throughout the days. It is also situated near some lovely authentic Italian resteraunts which, unlike those in Piazza Navona, were very reasonably priced!
Renato made a fantastic host, incredibly friendly and a maker of fine cappuccino and croissants every morning!
Many thanks for making our stay in Rome a pleasant one, we know where to stay next time we come back to Rome! | | |
